You can always take the Brazialian LCC Gol from Sao Paulo to Rio.

I flew LAX-PTY-SCL in 6/01 and made the most of my 10-hour layover in PTY. After landing in SCL at 330AM and getting home to unpack my bags, all of my clothes were wet! I know it was raining in PTY, but come on! Looks like they left my bags sitting outside for 10 hours.
