I disagree. United would go with the scheduled duration of the flight. SNA-DEN is a 2:15 flight according to UA's timetables. It wouldn't make sense to base it on the flight times that vary day to day and variable to variable. Based on the official timetable, I would say snack plate of some sort even though it is only 846 miles.
