My two go-to brands when it comes to sticking something in that'll work *NOW* are Linksys and Netgear. Netgear has some decent low-end equipment. They make some clunkers too but their "upper end" equipment is done well. I think their Pro Safe access points rock... as our Cisco AP350s die off we're replacing 'em with Netgears. No problems whatsoever. They aren't as configurable but we never needed the advanced functionality anyway.
