1) You have my permission

2) If other passengers experienced foodpoisoning also, you might have a good case

3) I hope it gets tossed.

On a recent long 14-hour flight back to the US, a poor guy
sitting across the aisle from me started going to the lav
a LOT during the last two hours of the flight. The flight
attendants were very sympathetic, but they would not
allow the passenger to remain in the lav during the last
15 minutes prior to landing.

Yes, the guy went inside the pants just as the landing
gears came down. All the other passengers in the upper
deck tried to pretend nothing was wrong... Don't know
what happened afterwards... as all the other passengers
hurried downstairs and exited the aircraft...

My questions:

1) should the guy be allowed to stay in the lav?

2) if the cause turned out to be the airline food, is the
airline liable and what are the recourses?

3) what happens to the business class seat/cushion?
is it removed and cleaned? or is it thrown away?
