Points: We were upgraded at the gate.... Medallion boarding had just been called and we were walking past the podium when a gate agent started calling a long list of names... twenty or more... our name is at the front of the alphabet, we heard it before boarding, went to the podium rather than the doorway, and were handed new boarding passes for BE. So far as we could tell, every Medallion on the plane got upgraded!

Best wishes on your trip, too.

Topster: GG has tried to explain many of these terms at the Delta Flyers' Guide.

O/H: all too often, especially in coach, it is just that! I believe QuietLion invented the term in his very funny trip reports.

"Service" should be a noun, not a verb.
