Out of curiousity, besides the tea they give you on "in-room check-in" what else do they do as part of the check-in process? Is it just the orientation speech regarding the hotel, your benefits (if Gold or Diamond VIP), etc...
Do they bring up a laptop and enter some of your info (such as incidentals CC, etc...) or do they just hand-write whatever info they need (or don't ask for any info)?
They just asked me if the credit card on the slip she brought with her was correct and it was. She also did a little tour of the room, mainly I think to show up the updates they had just completed. She did the same things you would normall get at check-in only at the room but the little show you would get from one of the guys that brings your bags.
