tazi, would you feel better leaving your car at a more trafficked station like New Carrollton? Since it's an Amtrak station as well, it might have better lighting and of course more people there. I tried to find parking info w/r/t New Carrollton but couldn't find info about overnight parking. So I'm not even sure it's feasible but I thought it might be worth an investigation for you.
