During my last stay at the Conrad in HKG the front desk person escorted me and my wife up the room immediately and took care of all the check in items there. We got upgraded to a suite (usually just and exec floor) so I dont know if that made a difference or not as this had never been done during any of my previous stays at this property. Housekeeping came up immediately following the check in to deliver Conrad bears and tea. I thought it was all a nice touch. I just assumed it was because my last stay at that hotel was a bad one (and they knew it) and it was some sort of way of making up for it. It may just be a new process for the Conrads?
