Personal record is 59kg on an economy ticket (with status), just last year. Thank you Qantas.

Now, I'm contemplating buying a new Apple Mac 20" monitor in Hong Kong as it's significantly cheaper than the UK, but don't want to handle it as checked luggage given its fragility and stealability. It doesn't weigh more than six kilos but the box is just a little larger than the carry-on regulations permit. What are my chances of getting it on to my Club World flight as handluggage? Yes, I understand 'permit' and think it will still fit into an overhead bin.

Any thoughts?
