I think they should. Being the guy in 4B is my personal nightmare, I can't relax when my seatmate is drinking coffee. Not so much because of the risk of getting burned, but because I hate the smell of it, the look of it, the sound people make when drinking it and would probably die if it spilled on me.

I don't think any beverage that can stain clothes (red wine, coffee, etc.) should be allowed.
