A question: did you choose the daytime flights on purpose? The only negative thing about my flights was the outbound, overnight flight to SYD. No matter what airline you're flying, a 7-hour flight with 2 meal services allows precious little time to sleep--maybe only 3 hours. I was just wiped out upon arrival into SYD!
Next time I will choose my flight times more carefully, though I did also enjoy the other overnght round trip in BA WT+ for just slightly more cost than SQ Y ex-SIN.
Great report!
Yeah I've always preferred daytime flights and choose them over red eyes whenever possible when travelling in Y.
For SIN-MEL SQ217 is the only daytime flight.
For MEL-SIN, theres SQ238 which departs at 1010, and SQ228 as above.
