The theory is 10,000 miles = 4 upgrades, thus every 2,500 miles = 1 upgrade. As mentioned, this is not a published or formal policy, but a courtesy extended to customers.

By calling customer service you can request this. You will see that the results will vary, and a common piece of advice will be if one call doesn't yield the desired result, simply hang up and dial again. This will then result in additional threads debating whether your account record is notated that you have called and requested this previously. This will then spawn threads on what is actually in your file, and how often is notated, and is it accessable.

Obviously if you have 77,500 miles, it is easier for you to get 3 upgrades on the balance versus having at total of YTD miles of simply 7,500.
