Right. I was actually replying to llbean, who said that he wanted HKG-DEL, which is easy because there's only one flight and it's nonstop, but any other routing would need that to be cleared up. My guess is that it's segment by segment and not A -> B because the chart is not only for Oneworld awards. It's also for partner awards, with one odd yet unimportant exception.
