It must have been an upgrade to F. That sounds like too much money for an E+ upgrade. Back when I didn't have status, I paid about that for an E+ upgrade going from LHR to IAD. I was recently offered (when I checked in online) an upgrade to F for $68.00 on an SFO - LAX flight (which I declined).
