I got a $75 membership rewards charge on my Platinum card on 1/15. Called customer service to find out what it was--platinum fee INCLUDES fee for membership rewards--and was told there is a new (as of 12/31/05) $75 charge to ALSO get the reward points from your AmEx corporate card linked to your Platinum.

As you might gather, but just to make it clear: I have a corporate American Express (green) card, but my company does not pay for membership rewards. I previously paid $75/year to get them on the corporate card, then signed up for Platinum last year to--among other things--have that included for free...which apparently it was, until 12/31.

Has anyone else gotten this charge/heard of this?
