LeMeridian in London was a mistake just to second the opinions already given. The Interconti, the Park tower, and just about any other hotel in that class is better. The rooms were just plain aweful in size, decoration, and run down.

Especially from a shopping experience (even if it’s just window shopping) for the wife, go for Park Tower. Across the street from Harvey Nichols and the high-end Sloane St. shops, and a few blocks from Harrods. Meridien is closer to Regent St. shops and Oxford St., but not by a lot.
