Hope the Hilton works out for KIR. AA sent us there a few years ago, after a missed connection, and it was so bad we hailed a taxi and found our own rooms elsewhere. Two rooms, with broken/loose door locks (keys and not cards), stains that looked like blood on the carpets, dirty baths and dead bugs on the floor--we had two of our sons with us, so it must have been the start of a school vacation time, but even so---Heard they renovated since then, so perhaps it's now improved. One night at the Normandie husband (staying there again on AA, we miss alot of connections in SJU) had someone come into his room with a key at about 3 AM. Luckily the individual left when he called out--but not a good story.
