[QUOTE=latitude][QUOTE=Globaliser]The best position of the legrest/footrest combo for you will be a matter of trial and error. It took me several goes to get it right, but I am now very comfortable indeed in WT+.
You know, no matter how hard I try, I can never get on with that damn leg/foot rest.
It stops at a strange angle and allows me to rest the backs of my legs on there, giving me pins and needles after a prolonged period of using it.
Is it just me or is it badly designed?
I don't think there's enough space for a footrest. The amount of space is commensurate with US Domestic F. I particularly liked the armchair that PanAmerican had on their A310s. - no footrest just a comfy chair. The Recaro seat in WT+ is that, comfy. Others on here like the footrest - its a matter of comfort.
On the 747 there are 4 seats in rows 28 and 29 that allow for you to use a suitable item of hand baggage to stretch out your legs. I think WT+ is an excellent choice for the premium leisure traveller. It makes the experience of flying decent as opposed to the 31" pinch down the back.
