In San Francisco, a small cup of coffee is $1.45, medium is $1.55, large $1.65, less 10 cents if you bring your own cup. Lattes and Mochas range from $2.35 to $3.50 depending on size. Airport and hotel prices are always higher.

So $50 can go a long way depending on how you spend it. The thing I like about these cards is that I can reload them with my Citi AA card, so I get miles for coffee but I don't slow down the line by charging $1.35.
