I have to say, I have just been trying out the Star Alliance reward booking engine on the ANA website and it is excellent. By far the best award booking system I have ever used. In one search it brings up multiple flight combinations and shows you availability in ALL classes on one screen. (Compare with BA, where you need to do 4 searches to check availability across all 4 classes.)

Now ... is it accurate? Who know?! However, it is well worth signing up for the ANA frequent flyer scheme and having a play with the reward booking system.
