Why doesn't AC make the timing more attractive?? They have cancelled this flight in the past allegedly over low load. Well is it partly due to the poor timing in your view? I think the timing is good. Both directions you get half a day work in which is what most ppl would expect. If you want to leave at a reasonable time then any trans-con east bound will eat up your whole day travelling with time shift.

I would agree the Ottawa connection is better with less time wasted waiting at airport.

Going via ORD would get you 100% miles whereas for Tango fare would get you only 50% non-status miles if flying within Canada.
