I certainly hope that's an untrue rumor. It's been tried before and does anything BUT speed up the boarding process. Shuttle by United did it for a while and it was just a disaster - having the aisles board early is of no help if they're in the front of the plane and hold up 25 rows of people while they stow their luggage.
