I have been reading these boards and I have come to the conclusion that AA is really in need of a new Slogan. One that better fits the airline they have become. Here are a couple off the top of my head:

1) musical jingle playing in the background
" We're American Airlines, Nothing Special in the Air"

2) " We Knew Why You Fly, We're American Airlines"

3) " Come Fly the Incredibly Shrinking Airline" -- taken from the TWA playbook they purchased.

4)" Come Fly AA ala carte" * We now accept credit cards on board.

5) "AA RUN DMC" we run from the competition to our hubs in Dallas, Miami, Chicago. Now serving two locations in Dallas!

Ok, all said in good fun, honestly I think they are trying their hardest right now-- maybe just a little misdirected though.
