For the techos amongst us, they seem to be Akami load balancing for this site. For the non-techs it means they should have better performance and speedier results due to them having many copies of the site around the world.
Akami have recently changed their systems rather majorly. They used to peer via a few of their hosting partners in AU, but due to a certain computer companys launch of a certain portable music player with video capability and video clips for sale through its store, Akami changed policy. Totally O/T to FF'ers but I hope it remains stable. It's been dodgy of late
