That's not a correct statement.
I just booked 6 segs online. $169 base from SFO-FLL
Can't remember the exact itinerary, but I am out at 12:30AM and back at 11 something PM : )

God, the things I do for miles.

Booked 5 trips, 6000 miles each way, 500 booking, 6000 plt bonus,
Thats 12500 plus 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000 CA bonus.

So 16500, 17500, 18500, 19500, 20500
92500 miles for about $1050. (30 segments, 30000 Qual miles)
