Sorry if this is silly but I just wanted to be sure I am looking at this correctly. I am no longer Premier with UAL so if I did the $604. plus 60K miles it would net out to using 53K+ miles and $604. Since I am not getting 25%, 100% or March Madness miles I am going to do the free for 80K. That seems to be the better value at my level, which is NOTHING...

Are there a lot of Premiers, 1K etc that would do the $604. plus 60K miles as their net would actually be less due to all the miles they would earn on the flights due to their bonuses.

As it is the flights in both directions are wide open according to the seat maps so I guess no matter what, there are not too many people in the front of the bus.
