I go through security before getting into my office. And I also go through security when meeting people in their offices. This security process can take time to get through.

SO I PLAN AHEAD! I get there early, so as to be on-time for my appointment. If there are people ahead of me waiting to clear security, I wait my turn. That's because I don't presume that someone else's time is a less precious commodity than my own.

Why are you in such a hurry anyway? There'll be plenty of time to read that magazine in the galley for the duration of the flight.
