This was originally posted in the London forum, but it was suggested this morning there that I make it a separate OT thread on this forum.
rustyr noticed that in the Sunday & Tuesday editions of the Telegraph you can get a coupon/token for 2-course meals for 5GPB.
Since a # of us Yanks are coming over for the London Do the weekend of Feb 17th & your British pound is kicking our $$'s arse on the exchange rate, us Yanks will take reasonable meals where we can find them.
Trouble is - we don't live in London to clip the coupons from the Sunday/Tuesday editions (rusty got his on a plane flying to the US).
So - if you get the Telegraph & would be willing to cut/mail the coupons, we would greatly appreciate it. Or if you're on a flight on Jan 22nd, 24th, 29th & 31st & they hand out the Telegraph and you're willing to tear coupon out of paper/mail, again appreciated. Think we have 10-12 folk coming over from US.
You can PM me for my mailing address. Alternatively, you could leave them at the Grosvenor House on the 17th, as I'll be checking in that day & will see FTers that night (but trying to remember to drop them off might be a hassle, so mail might be easier).
Here are the details (below) from the Telegraph site (and in case you're interested for yourselves).
Any help appreciated. Cheers.
