Does AA regard the Mr/s EXP-gazillionmilers the same as Mr/s EXP-newbie?

Given the recent numerous posts on 'jumping the queue' on the upgrade waiting list, I am just wondering if the very executive-platinumness of a person (such as brp) may give him/her an edge. Perhaps, it is not because of the lag time in the system as surmised. Just a thought!
