I was presuming that was the case, just looking at seeing routes between JFK and SEA with a +2000 mile sector. Obviously the choices based on those criteria are somewhat limited and routing via LAX/SFO meant flights on AS.
If I'm doing this I've decided on the 757 direct option....as nice as CX would be

Have also found a JFK-SEA-DFW-JFK option for about $1200 less and 300 tier points ^
