We are going to Perth Australia in a few months and so I've been trying to figure out how to structure our trip.
But lately I've noticed more in the news about it.

Just the other day, it made the front page of the local newspaper's travel section. Also, I believe I read about it quite recently for in a National Geographic Traveler mag.

Is that part of Australia starting a new push towards tourism?
All I know of Western Australia are its wine regions, but what else is recommended?
