American did the same thing. I just called Delta and asked about my 10/18 flight, and it is supposedly still operating.

Since I am flying on an award ticket, I asked what was going to happen if it was cancelled, and I would have to redeposit the award and get a new on AF, for instance. The agent told me there "would of course be the $25 redeposit fee"?!?!?!?!?
