I expect to earn my first NAMU certificates within a month or so. Does anyone know how long they are valid for - one year? (I may have some flexibility as to when I earn them, so it matters how long they are valid for...) The Delta web site is, typically, silent on the issue.

In passing, it was interesting to reread on delta.com the reasoning for abolishing the SWU certs - international flights operating at full capacity. In the light of changed circumstances, any chance of a rethink on this issue? I am one of those who mainly flies internationally, so the NAMUs and 800 mile segments are not too valuable, which has had me toying with transfering my affections to United or AA.....
