On the other hand it was just last week I paid over £400 for a day return to BRU when booking just the night before.
Indeed, I've bought a walk-up EDI-LHR for £28, and I've bought a walk-up MAN-LHR for £152. The latter is, however, far more common. I have no direct personal experience of the DUB route however: I would imagine that it depends on what EI does!
