Also, I've had to turn down a couple operational upgrades (one international!) when travelling on separate PNR's because they moved me up without my wife. As much as I like free upgrades, I like staying married even more. :-)
Ack! Never turn down an upgrade. Take it and put your wife up front. She'll thank you later
