Fewmiles: I hear what you're saying and I understand, but I am a new member (recently came across this site) and I think the site is great! But if you restrict it to members at least 90 days old, then I have to miss out for 90 days. If that's the guidelines, I can live with that. You're right though, catch-22 big time! I don't know what the answer is.

Goldlust,
I was bored and decided to do a little counting. Of all the people who have responded with "Please sign me up" on this or the other thread in the Hilton board, I count about 25 "newer" FTers. These are people who have typically less than 50 posts and have been here less than three months or so. If I were paranoid about who I could or could not "trust", I'd be wondering about these people. So many seem like complete newcomers to FT and one of their first few posts is to ask to be put on a mailing list devoted to exploiting things like "fare and rate mistakes". There are others who registered on FT a long time ago, but have very few posts. Do you trust these people?
I believe you stated that the criteria for being added to the list were: interest, being a known FTer, and being trustworthy. Well, interest is the easy one. What do you define being a known or well known FTer as? What about trustworthy? I know you don't want to publish your exact selection criteria, but I think you're in a catch-22. Who are you going to trust? What are the people you reject going to think? There's always a danger of someone doing the emmissary thing.
Sorry, I have to agree with cactuspete... I'm not sure this is such a good idea.
FewMiles..
