Think about a family of 4, holding tickets TIP-FRA-SIN-FRA-TIP.
Ex Tip price 1500 Euro in F class. Pax skiped first segment and board in FRA. Now the airline try to charge the FRA-SIN 7800 Euro. Faredifference 6300 Euro per pax or total 25.200 Euro !
By the way your alias Flying Lawyer, are you really a lawyer and if yes, would you be interested in such a real case ? My location 80km from DUS 40km from CGN think not to far from you.
