Talking Name your favourite central city Playgrounds/Parks/Gym/Activity Centre

Hi, We are taking our boys 3 & 5 on a big world adventure this year. They love doing physical things and I am keen to start a thread listing the best parks, play grounds, indoor play parks etc. around the world. Generally the type of places that you can take younger children to allows them to blow off steam and slow them down a bit before you drag them to something more cultural that you want to see (that maybe they don't). I thought it might be good to have people's opinions on the best and also accessible (ie inner city or close to major attractions as opposed to outer suburbs) places. I'm happy for either free or pay as you play.

I am interested in particular cities but would be happy to see the thread cover as many as possible. I'll also volunteer a couple of places I know to start:

1. PERTH, Australia: King's Park, not only is this beautiful park overlooking the city on most tourist to do lists it also has two very good kids parks amongst the hundreds of acres. 1. The Western Power dinosaur playground, life size concrete dinosaurs and obstacle type walkways. 2. The Ivey Watson playground, a big playground with heaps of slides, swings and suitable for toddlers to about 10.
Another place if you have plenty of time as it is a bit out of the city is Jungle Gym in the suburb of Willetton, this place is awesome, an entire warehouse full of padded foam, trampolines, flying foxes, climbing towers etc that allows kids to fall, flip and trip and not get hurt. Costs about $6

2. LONDON: The Princess Dianna Memorial playground in Hyde Park, again this is a great themed park built around a pirate type ship and being in the park allows the adults to really enjoy the great things Hyde Park has to offer, a walk down to my favourite memorial in London, the Albert Memorial after the play would be the perfect compromise for fun for both the kids and adults.

The cities I would appreciate some help with:

3. TOKYO:

4. KYOTO:

5. HELSINKI:

6. CASSABLANCA:

7. CAIRO:

9. NEW YORK:

10. HALIFAX, Canada:

11. VANCOUVER:

12. SINGAPORE:

Look forward to any help you can give.

Paul
