First of all, this statement is simply WRONG. Beyond that, everyone has to make their own choices with respect to Ebay vs. FT CC vs. their own sense of "ethics"......I can tell you from personal experience (gained many years before FT existed) that UA can and WILL penalize sellers of miles/upgrades/goodies.....

I'd be perfectly willing to share my tale of woe (off the board of course!) with anyone interested in why one shouldn't buy or sell these things.....But basically, I'd simply say don't do it......YMMV.
