After another email to a HHonors person, and a call from some empowered person in the program, he wanted to know what he could do to make things right. I suggested something in the points dept, w/o specifically asking for an amount. He said he was planning on just sending me a check for the entire amount of the stay, which I thought was above and beyond the call, even if the call was 5 months late
