Thanks...I think I'll email the hotel and ask if they'll give me a suite.

The CP next door is no longer branded a CP - now just called Kensington Court Hotel. Its actually the recommended hotel for the 3-day event I'm going to Ann Arbor for, but I figured I might as well get some points at the HIX instead.
