ooops... sorry... I should have included more details...

back then, the int'l first class passengers sat in the lounge... the coach(and business class, if available) section
would board first... just before they were done boarding, the gate agent would phone the lounge... then they would
tell the first class passengers to go down to the gates for
boarding...
