Every laptop I've ever owned was happy with any power it found.

My old electric razor required physically moving an awkward switch to run on 220 but it would do so. My new one has no switch, it's happy with either.

My electric toothbrush, however, only takes 110, a transformer is neccessary in 220 land. Likewise the charger for the AA's my digital camera takes.
