let me get this all straight....
1) a bag was suspected of possibly containing a bomb
2) the bomb squad was called
3) the terminal was evacuated
4) the bag, possibly containing a bomb was hit with a water jet inside the terminal instead of being taken outside, placed into a bomb disposal unit and removed from the airport
5) if it contained a bomb and the bomb went off as a result of being hit by the water jet, no one gave much consideration to the structural damage the terminal might have suffered
5) the bag, having been wrecked by said water jet was left open, its contents not secured (or possibly examined for the presence of a bomb), and the owner was sent to retrieve what he could from it, while onlookers gazed upon his misfortune
Am I the only one who thinks, at least procedure wise, this is about the stupidest display of no-common-sense that was recorded in our forum for quite some time?
