You are right... but who's thinking?

I agree - most folks have said J on CX is the best for all those reasons - but one poster stated they do not use suites on the NRT routes, and that's not accurate - though once they get all the 777s converted, it won't even be an issue.

(Someone should start a pool for the J seat conversion completion date, and another for the full suite conversion completion date... and donate the money to the charity of the winner. I don't even have an idea what Forum that would go in appropriately, now how we would actually verify the completion date...)

And, I don't think anyone here was saying the coffin seat is the "sole criterion" at all-- quite the contrary-- the food, IFE, service, "experience," lounges, FA's, drinks-- everything.
