Was on AS7 last night from EWR to SEA. AS8 arrived a few minutes behind schedule and rolled to the gate. And then it sat there. Turned out that finally somebody else was to blame for a problem instead of AS. The jetbridge wouldn't move. Apparently it lost "rolling power" somehow.

A bunch of us standing there looking out the window looked on bemusedly as the CO crew ran around like Larry, Moe & Curley trying to get the thing to move.

Finally got it to move after what I believe was 30 - 35 minutes.

Doubting this one will make the Seattle Times. . . .
