Drug-Sniffing-Dog Graduates Placed At Six Airports
Airports in Los Angeles, Cleveland, Phoenix, Tulsa, Greensboro, and Little Rock, are receiving new bomb-sniffing dogs recently graduated from Transportation Security Administration training. The dogs, part of the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program, will help ensure more random searches are done at the airports. "Canine teams are a highly effective deterrent to would-be terrorists, and they directly address our goal of enhancing explosives detection capabilities and making security procedures less predictable," said TSA chief Kip Hawley.
