I disagree. I've always found it quite easy to get business class seats to Asia on *A carriers, as there's plenty of 'em and lots of capacity.

Remember that you can pick from ANA, Singapore, Thai, Asiana, plus United and Air Canada, then there's Air New Zealand in the South Pacific too.

I'm doing a US award shorly, 2 seats not just one, F class.. IAD-NRT on NH, NRT-BKK on TG, then BKK-NRT(2-class J)-IAD on NH.

Admittedly finding 2 F seats on SQ transpacific routes isn't easy, but there are plenty of other nice options to Asia.

Best advice is to sign up for an Air Canada or ANA frequent flyer account in order to use their award search tools. Both those airlines allow you to search *A award availability online. Find the flights you want and then call.
