I plan on spending three nights in Munich and do not known which Starwood property to choose. Thanks in advance for you help.
Sheraton Arabella was exceptionally accomodating to me during a recent Platinum stay. When I approached the "ordinary" check-in desk, I was directed around the corner to the concierge's table. She offered me a glass of champagne, took my documents to make a copy, then accompanied me up to my suite. 2 room, 2 bathroom - living room had two couches, work station (fax machine, internet ports), TV and bar. Bedroom was equally as large. Bathroom had jacuzzi tub, heated floor, and 14" flat screen TV (so 3 TVs in total). Bottle of wine was my selected ameniti.

Being unfamiliar with the area, I hopped in a taxi, 5-minute ride to what seemed to be "downtown" Shopping galore, beer halls, truth be told I was a tad jet-lagged and eager for a few drinks after being on an Air France flight that experienced sufficient turbulence that a few passengers required medical assistance once we landed. In any event, proximity to the subway may be helpful, just don't know, but taxis were easy and inexpensive to acquire.

One of the better treatments I've received at any Starwood in Europe, though for the most part European Starwood service (and Platinum recognition) exceeds that of the States. Excelsior Rome, Florence, and Westin Milan rank up there as well, Park Lane at London is showing improvement...
