If you have car transportation and want to spend a night or two a bit outside of Munich, the Spitzingsee/Alpenhotel is beautiful. It is situated on a pretty lake, has great hiking trails, has three different types of saunas and a steamroom, and is a great place for a peaceful stay--it was one of Starwood's best deals as a Cat. 2 last year, but unfortunately I see it is now a Cat. 3.
